ZAKAÍ was born from a vision to create a space where beauty, event preparation, and personal style come together effortlessly. It’s a girls’ girl environment where self-maintenance is celebrated and every detail is designed to help women look and feel their best. At its core, ZAKAÍ is about confidence — creating a place where women can prepare for life’s special moments while investing in themselves.

Founder Furat began her journey in the beauty industry in 2015 after completing her Diploma of Beauty Therapy at a private college in Sydney. She later expanded her expertise by completing a Diploma of Laser and training in bridal makeup with an award-winning artist. Her passion for the industry also took her internationally, where she completed professional hair training in San Diego, California.

Throughout her career, Furat has worked in salons across Sydney and San Diego, collaborating with influencers, renowned photographers, and creatives within the industry. Her work has even been reposted by Calvin Klein, highlighting the creative direction and quality behind her craft. Alongside her beauty background, years spent working in fashion retail developed a strong passion for women’s fashion, styling, and dresses.

After marrying her husband, a jeweller, her appreciation for jewellery and craftsmanship grew even deeper. Spending time working alongside him in his jewellery store sparked the idea of incorporating jewellery into her own space, completing the vision she had always imagined.

Today, ZAKAÍ brings beauty services, event preparation, dresses, and jewellery together in one thoughtfully curated destination. With its minimal aesthetic, neutral tones, beige and gold accents, and touches of greenery throughout the space, the studio reflects modern luxury while remaining warm and welcoming.
